One dead, four injured in mosque collapse

KUWAIT: One man died and four others were injured when the roof of a mosque under construction collapsed in Sabah Al- Ahmad. Rescue squads found four workers under the rubble. Housing Minister Yasser Abul, accompanied by Eng Bader Al- Wuqayan, Director General of Housing Care Authority visited the site. Colonel Khalil Al- Amir, KFSD Public Relations and Information Director, expressed regret over the accident and stressed on the lack of safety and security measures. This is the second incident of its kind that happens in Kuwait within a week, after a collapse at a building under construction in Salmiya last Saturday killed two workers and injured three others.
